Vladi Rivkin’s passion for polo led him to create a world-class training facility dedicated to developing exceptional polo ponies and making high-quality horses available to players throughout Northern California and the western polo community.

Today, Vladi’s polo operations extend from Stone Tree Ranch to Wine Country Polo Club, where he competes and provides trained lease horses, and to Buenos Aires region of Argentina, where horses are bred and developed in partnership with Manuel Crespo. As a USPA Delegate and ambassador of the Federation of International Polo, Vladi also organizes international polo trips and tournaments in other countries and destinations in US.

Manuel Crespo

Manuel Crespo is a professional polo player and horse breeder from Argentina with extensive experience competing in Argentina, the United States, and internationally. Raised in the tradition of Argentine polo, he is recognized for his horsemanship, strategic understanding of the game, and ability to develop both horses and players.

At Stone Tree Ranch, Manuel plays an important role in furthering the sport of polo in Northern California. He provides individualized training designed around each player’s experience, ability, and personal goals, helping players improve their riding, hitting, strategy, and overall understanding of the game.

Manuel also works closely with each player to identify polo ponies that are best suited to their skill level, playing style, and ambitions. His experience as both a professional player and horse breeder allows him to create successful horse-and-player combinations that support confidence, safety, and continued development in the sport.
